DL4OCF - German Amateur Radio Station
City: Wolfsburg / Niedersachsen / Germany
Locator: JO52kk
DOK: H24
I started Amateur Radio in 1990 with my first CALL DG7AAZ on 2m FM and 70cm FM. For both bands I used the Kenwood handheld TH-78E which is still running in my shack! Later in 1994 I upgraded my licence up to the HF-Bands and received the new call DL4OCF which I still use.
Active on 80m - 10m SSB, 2m FM, 70cm FM
HF: Icom IC-751A (excellent rig!!!), 100W, Inverted V
UHF/ VHF: Kenwood TH-78E, 5W, groundplane, HB9CV
Status today: In 2005 I moved from Munich where I stayed for about 8 years back to Wolfsburg. I just moved into another house have lots of work to do in my new job and besides family, house and garden. I plan to build up some antennas especially for HF next time. After an intensive internet research recently my most favourite antenna could be an OptiBeam e.g. OB9-5.
Are there any experiences for OptiBeam OB9-5??? Contact me.
